This work is part of a series of works I created while I lived in Venice, Italy. I started this painting and two other canvases the same size in 2015 and finished them in 2016. After moving home from Venice they have been in storage and they are currently part of my solo show Energetic Labyrinths in the Toragh Gallery in Kells.
My work is intuitive in nature and I love to create visually dynamic paintings and visual compositions which use a clash of form, colour and collage. I layer and juxtapose shapes, patterns, dripped and pulled paint & stripes to create movement and a sense of heightened positive energy, creating vibrant visual labyrinths to explore. My aim is to bring Colour, Light & Positive Energy to your home.
