Overall Studio Practice 2008 - To Date

My work is intuitive in nature and mainly process based. I love to create visually dynamic paintings and visual compositions which toy with the clash and energetic interplay of organic and organised forms, complimentary and contrasting colour, repeated shapes, mark and void.

I layer and juxtapose shapes, patterns, stripes, dripped and pulled paint to create movement and a sense of heightened positive energy, creating vibrant visual labyrinths to explore. The resulting works are full of colour, flow and movement. They are tactile, multi-dimensional, energetic and dynamic.
